Targeted support
Our programmes answer the biggest challenges and opportunities in Sukamaju's schools, chosen each year with principals and parents.
Parent reading circles, school committees that plan together, and village volunteers who run after-school clubs.
Coaching for new teachers, subject networks across villages, and the Teacher Innovation Grants.
Science kits, robotics clubs and connectivity that the regular school budget cannot stretch to.
Classroom projects proposed by teachers and funded by the community, from river studies to school newspapers.
Exam preparation, uniforms and transport for students who would otherwise leave school early.
Our work reaches more than 48,000 students and 3,900 teachers across 212 public schools, from the rice terraces of the north to the fishing villages of the south coast.
